GP ADHD

A new ADHD service in

Cambridge provided by a GP

with a special interest in ADHD

Scope of Services

GP ADHD can:

  • diagnose and treat ADHD in Adults and Children (>12)
  • treat children who have been diagnosed with ADHD
  • screen children (<12) for possible ADHD and provide advice regarding further assessment

Treatment includes:

  • psychological support
  • printed information, advice regarding books and websites
  • prescribing of medication to treat ADHD.
  • close liaison with an experienced SENDCO with a special interest in ADHD - most helpful for Children
  • close liaison with ADHD specific coaching to help with adjusting to the diagnosis and to improve organisational skills
